Who we are
We’re a husband-and-wife duo based in beautiful Charleston, SC, and we’ve combined our shared passions — travel, photography, and watercolor art — into something that reflects a love for exploration and discovery.
Our work captures moments and places — vibrant travel scenes, mouthwatering food illustrations, and custom creations for businesses and individuals alike. We serve clients worldwide, so whether you’re across town or across the ocean, we’d love to connect.
As Seen In
Our work has been spotlighted by some incredible platforms, including Matador Network, British Vogue, and even Good Morning America. We’re honored to have our work recognized on such a global stage, and we can’t wait to bring that same level of creativity and passion to your project. These pinch-me milestones remind us why we love sharing our art and photography with the world—and hopefully, with you too!
Protecting and conserving our oceans and its inhabitants
YOUR PROJECT HELPS SAVE THE SEAS!
Often referred to as “rainforests of the sea” coral reefs are a critical component of ocean life and give support to over one million different species. They’re also vital to coastal protection, acting as a physical barrier between land and sea by dissipating the vast majority of wave energy, therefore mitigating erosion and hurricane damage.
Sadly, coral reefs are suffering due to the threats of human activity — from climate change (the single greatest threat to coral reefs), to plastic pollution, even to sunscreen. In the last 30 years alone, we’ve lost more than half of the worlds coral reefs and it’s projected that by the end of this century, all shallow reefs could disappear or be damaged beyond repair if immediate action is not taken.
A portion of every project will be donated to Coral Restoration Foundation, to help restore and protect coral reefs around the world!
Our Philosophy
Why travel?
It’s not for the “perfect” Instagram shot, crossing a destination off our bucket list, or putting another pin in our map. There is transformative power in immersing ourselves in the roots of our travels, instead of playing the role of a tourist passing by.
We firmly believe that travel creates empathy. When we remove ourselves from the confines of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves to broaden our perspective, we find appreciation for different cultures and their contributions to the world, gain respect for the way others live and the traditions they hold sacred, unlearn the ignorance and biases we may have unconsciously projected and learn about ourselves along the way.
We are all connected, and travel, more than anything else, will make this apparent. When we celebrate the unique heritage and cultural traditions of our location, any location, in a more intimate and meaningful way, we are able to connect with the people we’ve encountered and cultivate new relationships. It’s these slow and authentic experiences that teach us not only about ourselves as we reflect inward, but about each other.
Traveling mindfully, sustainably, and regeneratively is essential to ensuring the result of our actions leaves a positive impact.
So as we explore exhilarating destinations, as we cross oceans and borders, as we dive into the unknown and experience the unfamiliar, we encourage you to tap into your own curiosity, to embrace adventure, to open your mind and try new things, and perhaps most importantly, to change your outlook on the world and consider the impact you leave behind.
