Exploring the ruins of Old Sheldon Church in Beaufort, SC

Situated along the Rt 17 Corridor almost exactly halfway between Charleston and Savannah, lie the Old Sheldon Church Ruins.

Completed in 1757, this church was originally named the Prince William’s Parish Church. Designed in the Greek Revival style, it boasted massive windows and brick columns in the front, and though impressive still now, this location has a tragic history.
